Klang:A 15-year-old boy tragically drowned while swimming in a lake in Bandar Botanik today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call regarding the incident at 6:21 p.m. The search operation was conducted by seven personnel from the Andalas station, with assistance from the Water Rescue Team (PPDA) from the Shah Alam station.

The boy is believed to have been swimming alone in the man-made lake when he encountered difficulties. His friends attempted to rescue him but were unsuccessful. The boy's body was eventually discovered by the rescue team at a depth of one meter at 8:21 p.m.
