Tokyo: teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM in Toyosu is set to unveil a newly expanded area featuring the ‘Catching and Collecting Forest’ and ‘Athletics Forest’ on January 22, 2025. The expansion increases the venue’s size by 1.5 times, allowing for a significant enhancement of its educational offerings.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the expansion includes the Athletics Forest, a creative and interactive athletic space designed to engage visitors in a multi-dimensional experience. Additionally, the Catching and Collecting Extinct Forest will offer a unique opportunity for visitors to capture and study representations of extinct animals. The Future Park, another new addition, will serve as a collaborative space encouraging co-creation and interaction among visitors. In total, over 20 new artworks will be on display, further enriching the artistic experience at teamLab Planets.
