Kuala lumpur: Takaful Ikhlas Family Bhd (Takaful IKHLAS), a subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd, today launched its latest product, IKHLAS Impianku. Takaful IKHLAS chief executive officer Wan Ahmad Najib Wan Ahmad Lotfi stated that the product was designed to help individuals manage their finances while enjoying optimal takaful protection.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the product features scheduled cash payouts every two years throughout the protection term, with returns of up to 30 percent of the investment amount, depending on the savings period. Wan Ahmad Najib emphasized that IKHLAS Impianku was developed to encourage Malaysians to continue pursuing their financial dreams amidst challenges like rising living costs and economic uncertainty. The product aims to support disciplined saving habits within a flexible takaful savings plan.
Wan Ahmad Najib outlined that the product comes in three plan options: a five-year contribution for 20 years of protection, a 10-year contribution for 25 years of protection
, and a 20-year contribution for 30 years of protection. Guaranteed returns every two years are a highlight of the plan, with increased savings resulting in higher returns.
IKHLAS Impianku also provides an additional death benefit of 100 percent of the Basic Coverage Amount in the event of death due to an accident. Wan Ahmad Najib stressed the importance of takaful protection for Malaysians, noting that about half of them lack coverage. He acknowledged the difficulty of saving while maintaining takaful protection but reinforced its necessity for substantial protection against unforeseen misfortunes.
In conjunction with the launch, Takaful IKHLAS introduced the IKHLAS Impianku Rezeki Draw, offering customers who sign up by Oct 1 a chance to win prizes such as a trip to London or Taiwan or a fully sponsored umrah package.
