KUALA LUMPUR: Takaful Ikhlas General Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd (MNRB), has been named Team of the Year (General Insurance and Takaful) at the Malaysia Management Excellence Awards 2024. The recognition highlights the company’s exceptional contributions to revolutionising the takaful industry through innovation and superior customer experiences, Takaful Ikhlas said in a statement today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, MNRB interim president and group chief executive officer Datuk Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin, who is also Takaful Ikhlas General president and chief executive officer, expressed deep honor in receiving the award. He emphasized that this accolade underscores the relentless efforts of the Takaful Ikhlas team in reshaping the takaful landscape. Che Lamin stated that the milestone inspires the company to constantly enhance its services and offerings to meet the needs of their clients.
Takaful Ikhlas has introduced several key innovations, such as the establishment of non-physic
al branches called Virtual Ikhlas Points, which expanded from five to ten virtual branches in the financial year 2024. The company has also developed a digital motor claims ecosystem, facilitating seamless claim processing with e-submissions, live video inspections, real-time updates, and e-payments. Additionally, it introduced a virtual interactive process for flood-related claims, ensuring settlements are completed within three days.
In its commitment to innovation, Takaful Ikhlas launched Go by Takaful Ikhlas in 2021. This digital ecosystem integrates several components to meet the needs of customers, agents, and partners. The GO Direct platform allows customers to select and subscribe to takaful products online, while the GO Serve portal enables certificate management, claim submissions, and access to assistance at any time.
For agents, GO Partner provides a resource-rich portal to enhance efficiency and service quality. GO Financial supports bancatakaful partners with a self-service platform to streaml
ine sales and support processes. Additionally, GO Connect, an open API platform, facilitates smooth partner integration.
