Tabung Haji Prepares for Arrival of Malaysian Haj Pilgrims in Makkah

Makkah: Seven Tabung Haji (TH) residential buildings, known as ‘maktab’, are set to receive 838 Malaysian Haj pilgrims arriving from Madinah in stages starting tomorrow.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Maktab Operations Director Mohd Fahmi Kamarudin announced that all facilities at each building have been fully prepared for the pilgrims. He stated that the preparations have been smooth, with the first group, KT001, expected to arrive around 5 pm local time at the Pilgrim Accommodation Building (BPJH) in Zone A, Syed Amir area.

Following the arrival of KT001, group KT002 is scheduled to reach the Land Premium Building in Zone C at 8 pm, and KT003 will arrive at the Abraj Tayseer Building in Zone B, Hafai area, around 11 pm. The pilgrim accommodations are organized into three zones: Zone A (Shuib Amir) includes Abraj Al Janadriyah and Qasr Al Janadriyah; Zone B (Hafae’r) consists of Rehab Janadriyah, Abraj Al Tayseer, and Diary Al-Saad; and Zone C (Misfalah) houses Land Premium and Al Fajr Al Badee 5.

A new accommodation building, Abraj Al-Tayseer in Zone B, located about one kilometer from Masjidil Haram, will be introduced this season. It will accommodate approximately 6,700 pilgrims and offer comprehensive amenities. Each maktab provides health clinics, customer service counters, worship guidance services, ATM facilities, laundromats, and convenience stores to meet the daily needs of the pilgrims.
