Yesterday, Transport Minister Anthony Loke reported that the Road Transport Department (JPJ) had arrested a taxi tout at KLIA Terminal 2 for allegedly cheating a foreign tourist with an inflated fare. The tourist was initially quoted a fare of RM60 but was later forced to pay more than RM800. Following Loke’s instruction, JPJ tracked down the vehicle, arrested the driver, and seized the car.
