Kuala Lumpur:A female officer from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department was discovered dead at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport quarters, with her death believed to be a murder committed by her husband.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad stated that the police received information about the incident around 8.30 pm. The suspect, who is the husband of the deceased, surrendered himself at a police station following the incident.

The police are conducting a detailed investigation at the scene to ascertain the motive and the exact time the murder occurred. The suspect has been taken to the scene to assist with further investigations.

Datuk Alzafny Ahmad mentioned that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Additional details will be provided once the investigation at the scene is completed.
