Kuala Lumpur: The Supplementary Electoral Roll for May 2025 (DPT BLN5/2025), which was verified yesterday and gazetted today, is now open for public review for 30 days until July 23, according to the Election Commission (EC).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, EC secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus announced that the roll includes 35,583 names of citizens aged 18 and above, who were registered automatically as new voters between January 1 and March 31. Additionally, it comprises 11,374 registered voters who have switched constituencies and 1,767 voters who have changed their status or category.

Khairul Shahril outlined five methods for public review: via the EC portal at www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my, the official portals of state election offices at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, and the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my. He also mentioned that checks could be conducted through the MySPR Semak mobile application or by calling the Voter Registration Verification Hotline at 03-88927218.

Khairul Shahril urged citizens aged 18 and above from May 1 to 31, 2025, and registered voters who have applied for changes in electoral constituencies or status, to verify their names in DPT BLN5/2025. He highlighted that if individuals find their names missing, they can make claims by filling out Form C through the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting their respective State Election Office.

For those wishing to object to the entry of voters who have changed constituencies, Khairul Shahril advised filling out Form D and visiting the relevant State Election Office. Both Form C and D can be downloaded from the State Election Office portals at http://ppn.spr.gov.my, and should be submitted with the objection fee during office hours throughout the review period.
