Super League: Terengganu and Selangor Secure Dominant Victories

Terengganu: Terengganu FC (TFC) and Selangor FC kicked off their Super League seasons triumphantly, with Terengganu defeating Melaka FC 3-0 at their home ground and Selangor overpowering Kelantan FC 4-1 in an away fixture. According to BERNAMA News Agency, the match at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium saw TFC, under the guidance of coach Mohd Nafuzi Zain, take an early lead. Curacao striker Gervane Kastaneer opened the scoring in the 11th minute, capitalizing on a precise pass from Victor Ruiz. Ruiz later doubled the advantage for TFC with a remarkable long-range strike just before halftime, putting the home team in a commanding position. Despite Melaka's efforts to respond, including a near-miss by V. Ruventhiran whose shot hit the crossbar, the visitors were unable to find the net. Kastaneer sealed the victory for TFC with his second goal in the 80th minute, securing a clear win and three vital points for his team. In a parallel encounter in Kota Bharu, Selangor FC demonstrated their prowess agains t the Kelantan Red Warriors. The game faced a brief interruption due to heavy rain, but once play resumed, Selangor quickly asserted dominance. Chrigor Moraes headed in the first goal following a cross, setting the tone for the match. Faisal Halim further extended Selangor's lead with two impressive goals, showcasing his skill and agility. Although Kelantan managed to score through Philip Musa's effort, Selangor's Chigor Moraes added another goal to his tally, ensuring a decisive 4-1 victory for the visitors.
