Super League Clash: TFC Aims for Victory Over Penang at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium

Kuala terengganu: Terengganu FC (TFC) must capitalise on home advantage to secure all three points when they face Penang FC in the Super League at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium tomorrow night. TFC head coach Mohd Nafuzi Zain said his players need to return to winning ways to keep the Turtles on track to achieve their targets this season.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the players must remain focused and avoid repeating previous mistakes to regain the confidence of supporters and prevent another disappointing result while playing on home turf. "We were quite disappointed to lose at home to Selangor FC recently. But we have to accept the result, bounce back and make the most of the opportunities ahead," said Zain.

He emphasized the importance of not dropping any points against Penang FC, acknowledging their opponent's motivation after a recent FA Cup victory against Melaka FC. He expressed confidence that his players have learned from past mistakes and are prepared to deliver their best performance.

The coach noted that all players are currently injury-free, though some changes to the starting line-up are expected due to fitness concerns and the demands of a congested fixture schedule.

Meanwhile, new TFC winger G. Pavithran is hopeful of making his debut in the upcoming match. The national player mentioned his growing familiarity with the team's playing style and his understanding with teammates, stating his readiness to contribute positively if given the opportunity. Pavithran highlighted the team's clear target to secure all three points and expressed confidence in their preparation and strategy for the match.
