Sultan of Selangor Celebrates 91st Anniversary of Royal Malaysian Navy


Kuala Lumpur: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today extended his greetings to all members of the ‘Navy People’ on the occasion of the Royal Malaysian Navy’s (RMN) 91st anniversary.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sultan Sharafuddin, who serves as the Captain-in-Chief of RMN, expressed his hopes for RMN personnel to continue upholding naval terms and traditions. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the RMN as a credible frontline force dedicated to defending the nation’s waters.



His Royal Highness conveyed his wishes for every member of ‘the Navy People’ to continue displaying loyalty and a strong fighting spirit towards the service. He thanked all members for their commitment, determination, and teamwork through a post on the Selangor Royal Office Instagram account.



The Sultan also urged Malaysians to remember and honour the services and sacrifices of the naval personnel who have served the nation. He concluded his message with a prayer for protection and strength for the nation’s heroes and heroines from Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala.
