Pahang: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, along with the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have extended their Chinese New Year greetings to the Chinese community in Pahang and throughout the nation. The royal couple conveyed their wishes through the Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page, emphasizing the importance of preserving mutual respect, unity, and harmony among Malaysia’s multiracial society.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Their Royal Highnesses expressed their hopes for a joyous celebration of the Chinese New Year, marking the Year of the Snake 2025, especially for those celebrating with loved ones. The message ended with the traditional greeting, “Gong Xi Fa Cai.”
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail also shared his Chinese New Year wishes, reinforcing the state government’s commitment to the welfare of all citizens, regardless of race or religion. He highlighted the unity and harmony among various ethnic groups in Pahang as the cornerstone of the state’s peace and prosperity.
In his message on Facebook, Wan Rosdy expressed confidence that with mutual understanding and respect, Pahang can overcome challenges and continue to progress as a united state.
