Sultan of Pahang Advocates for Unity Through Respect and Positive Attitudes

Pahang: Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has called for mutual respect and a positive mindset to strengthen unity in society. His Royal Highness urged the people not to let differences in opinions and minor interests divide society.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah emphasized the importance of finding common ground for mutual well-being. He advised against allowing differences to lead to division, urging citizens to respect one another. He also stressed the importance of maintaining a positive outlook, cautioning against quick judgments of others or situations.

The Sultan made these remarks during the Pahang Bermunajat Raja Berdaulat gathering at the State Mosque. The event was attended by the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, and other state government leaders.

Al-Sultan Abdullah also addressed the responsibilities of the government and the opposition. He reminded the government to be attentive and caring towards the people, while calling on the opposition to offer constructive suggestions rather than create division. He highlighted the need for all parties to refrain from spreading slander, sowing hatred, and disseminating false information, as these actions weaken unity and erode moral values in society.
