Perak: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, attended the 1446H/2025 state-level Nuzul Al-Quran Celebration at the Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque today. Also present were the Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, and Raja Di Hilir Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah. The event saw the participation of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, Perak Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) president Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini, and state mufti Datuk Seri Wan Zahidi Wan Teh.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event commenced with a tazkirah focusing on the miracles of the Quran, followed by the recitation of holy verses and tahlil. Sultan Nazrin joined approximately 1,000 guests for the breaking of fast. The Perak Ruler and the congregation subsequently performed the Maghrib prayers.

Sultan Nazrin also distributed MAIPk’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri aid amounting to RM12,847,500 to sub-district chiefs of 12 districts. This aid will benefit 42,825 recipients across the state. The evening concluded with the Sultan performing Isyak and Tarawih prayers with the congregation.
