Kuala Kangsar: The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, and the Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, visited the Ramadan Bazaar at Arena Kuala Kangsar here today. The royal visit commenced around 5 pm, and despite the light rain, the couple spent about 30 minutes engaging with the vibrant atmosphere of the bazaar.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sultan Nazrin and Tuanku Zara interacted with both traders and visitors during their visit. They took time to inquire about the businesses of the traders, showing a keen interest in their operations and challenges.

Sultan Nazrin offered advice to beverage vendors, encouraging them to reduce the sugar content in their drinks. The royal couple also supported the local economy by purchasing a variety of delicacies, drinks, and cakes from the stalls.

The visit to the bazaar highlighted the royal couple’s interest in community engagement and support for local businesses during the Ramadan period.
