Accra:His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, held an audience with the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail, at Istana Negara.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, during the meeting, Mohd Khalid introduced the newly appointed Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid, to the King. Abdul Aziz officially took on his role on September 9.

Additionally, Mohd Khalid presented the new director of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Management Department, Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, who previously served as the Sarawak Police Commissioner. Mohamad Zainal's appointment became effective on September 15.
