Success of SJKT Ladang Kinrara at World Youth STEM Invention and Innovation 2026 Highlights Malaysian Students’ Global Competitiveness

Kuala lumpur: The success of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Kinrara at the World Youth STEM Invention and Innovation 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, earlier this month, underscores the ability of Malaysian students to excel on the international stage.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan highlighted the achievements of SJKT Ladang Kinrara, which won the "Gold Award," "Panel Choice Award," and secured a place in the top five for the 'Environmental and Sustainability' category. These accolades demonstrate the students' capabilities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and reflect their discipline, perseverance, and competitiveness.

Ramanan emphasized that participation on the international stage requires thorough preparation, courage, and strong self-confidence. He commended students Aarthisha Thiban, Aatheesha Moorthy, Keshwine Elattachan, Arvin Kumar, and Puraarni Vivegan for their accomplishments, which brought honor to their school, race, and country. He expressed his eagerness to meet the students to hear their success stories and experiences.

Ramanan, who serves as the Member of Parliament for Sungai Buloh, attributed the success to the strong support and continuous commitment of teachers and parents in nurturing the talents and potential of the younger generation. He noted that this achievement reflects the MADANI Government's investment in education and STEM, which aims to drive national development.

He expressed hope that this success will inspire further innovations that benefit society and the nation, aligning with the aspiration to cultivate a knowledgeable, skilled, and creative generation.
