Subang Jaya: The fire at Jalan Putra Harmoni, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, Selangor, is confined to the main gas pipeline, with the nearby Petronas petrol station unaffected.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Smart Selangor Operation Centre (SSOC) reported that the main gas pipeline has been shut off, and the fire will be completely extinguished once the remaining gas burns out. The nearby Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru area is also affected, with several houses damaged by the fire, though the exact number of homes impacted has yet to be ascertained. There are victims reportedly trapped inside, and rescue operations are currently underway.
The SSOC has confirmed that the rescued victims have been relocated to the temporary relief centre (PPS) at the Putra Heights Mosque multipurpose hall. Several victims have sustained burns and are awaiting medical assistance. At present, the mosque is providing aid to those affected.
SSOC stated that it will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide timely updates on developments.
