Kuala lumpur: US-based cloud company Snowflake today announced that it has deepened strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Anthropic and Accenture to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) services and capabilities. In a statement, Snowflake said it has reached a major milestone in its collaboration with AWS, doubling its transaction growth on AWS Marketplace year-on-year to exceed US$2 billion in sales in a calendar year.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Snowflake has leveraged AWS Marketplace to reach and serve customers by accelerating adoption, simplifying procurement and fueling global growth. Snowflake chief revenue officer Mike Gannon highlighted the robust collaboration between the two companies in the cloud industry, emphasizing their role in modernizing organizations and unlocking new value from data. He noted that crossing the US$2 billion mark in AWS Marketplace signifies their influence in the AI era, with seamless integration between Snowflake’s data and AI platform and AWS services driving growth and empowering business transformations.
The statement was released in conjunction with AWS re:Invent 2025. In a separate statement, Snowflake and Anthropic announced a US$200 million strategic partnership expansion to bring agentic AI to global enterprises. The focus of this collaboration is on deploying advanced AI agents on Snowflake, powered by Anthropic’s Claude, capable of handling multi-step analysis and securely managing sensitive data. This integration will enable a comprehensive understanding of financial, operational, and customer data, allowing for careful reasoning and transparent reporting.
Meanwhile, Snowflake also announced a partnership with Accenture through the launch of the Accenture Snowflake Business Group, aiming to drive enterprise reinvention with cloud, AI, and data. This collaboration, anchored by Accenture AI Refinery, Snowflake Intelligence, and Snowflake Cortex AI, will empower organizations to unlock AI’s potential and gain unprecedented insights. Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy expressed that the partnership combines Accenture’s business reinvention experience with Snowflake’s platform, enabling enterprises to fully realize AI and data potential for innovation and decision-making.
As part of the Accenture Snowflake Business Group, the companies will invest in establishing a global center of excellence, where specialized teams will collaborate with clients to apply the latest technologies and co-create new solutions.
