SMK Taman Yarl Achieves Best SPM Results in Six Years Through Digital Facilities

Kuala lumpur: The 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Taman Yarl mark the school's best performance in the past six years, highlighting the combined efforts of teachers, students, and parents.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, SMK Taman Yarl's principal, Dr. Ahmad Kamal Ariffin, noted that most students hail from the B40 group. Continued government support, especially in enhancing digital learning facilities and creating a conducive learning environment, has significantly contributed to the improved academic outcomes.

Dr. Ahmad Kamal Ariffin emphasized that about 95 percent of the students belong to the B40 group, facing challenges in socioeconomic support and self-motivation. However, enhanced facilities such as digital learning tools and infrastructure repairs have allowed students to engage effectively in their studies. Teachers at the school have remained committed to guiding students, preparing concise notes, and using creative teaching methods to aid understanding.

Syaza Mia Ellysha Muhammad Faizal, an 18-year-old candidate, expressed surprise at her results, having faced challenges during the pandemic, particularly with Home-Based Teaching and Learning (PdPR). She highlighted the importance of teacher support and family encouragement in her success.

Another student, Muhammad Amierul Ikmal, also expressed gratitude for his performance, which exceeded his expectations. He credited his success to group study methods and the unwavering support of his teachers.

Parents of both students expressed pride in their children's achievements, acknowledging the struggles faced during the pandemic but appreciating the efforts made to support their education.
