SMK Suria Jaya Set to Launch Operations in September 2026

Kuala lumpur: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Suria Jaya is poised to begin operations in September 2026 following the Ministry of Education's (MOE) issuance of a Certificate of Partial Occupation (CPO) for the school project.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek conveyed her gratitude to the project management team, consultants, relevant government agencies, utility providers, and contractors for their dedication in completing the school project. In a Facebook post, she noted the MOE's commitment to providing a conducive learning environment and supporting teachers in their educational mission.

The minister emphasized that quality facilities are vital for fostering an inclusive educational environment. She expressed satisfaction with the project's completion under the MADANI Government.

In another development, Fadhlina announced via Facebook that the MOE has issued a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the reconstruction of a dilapidated building at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Parit Nawi in Parit Jawa, Muar. The project includes rebuilding the school's canteen block, constructing covered walkways, and installing a perimeter fence.

Fadhlina instructed that the project's progress be closely monitored to ensure timely completion, aiming for full completion by mid-next year. She highlighted SK Parit Nawi's strong co-curricular track record, with a championship-winning softball team at district and Johor state levels, and expressed hopes for the school's continued success in nurturing knowledgeable and morally upright students, in line with its motto, Ilmu Asas Hidup.
