Beaufort: The number of flood victims in Beaufort increased to 312 people from 121 families as of 8 am today, compared to 304 people from 130 families yesterday. The Sabah State Disaster Management Secretariat said all evacuees have been placed at the Selagon permanent relief centre.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, eight villages in the district have been affected by floods since Thursday, following continuous heavy rain. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast rain in the morning, thunderstorms in the afternoon, and rain at night in the interiors of Sabah.
