Kuala Lumpur: After a decade since its last face design, prayerwear and lifestyle brand pioneer Siti Khadijah today unveiled its latest collection, Maharani. Its founder, Padzilah Enda Sulaiman, stated that the sixth face design symbolizes the brand’s evolution and serves as a tribute to women who embody grace, resilience, and heritage-values that have defined Siti Khadijah since its inception in 2009.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Padzilah Enda emphasized that Maharani is more than just a new face design. It reflects the brand’s long journey in understanding the true needs of women, a process approached with care and meaning at every step. During the launch ceremony, she highlighted how Maharani builds on two of the brand’s iconic face designs: Original, introduced in 2009 with a firm awning, and Harmoni from 2016, which mimics an inner scarf at the forehead for a softer fit suitable for all-day wear.
The name Maharani was inspired by the symbolic use of the awning, resembling a tiara. The design makes Maharani both functional and elegant, demonstrating Siti Khadijah’s continuous innovation in offering comfort through every creation. In conjunction with the launch, the brand also introduced three new telekung collections featuring the Maharani face design. These collections are Broderie Zahara with intricate classic embroidery, Flair Sabira offering a flowy modern cut with lightweight textures, and Modish Maira Midi with a mid-length cut ideal for use in the Holy Land.
Padzilah Enda remarked that all three collections prioritize comfort, refined craftsmanship, and contemporary style in line with the values and aesthetic of the Siti Khadijah brand. The Maharani collection will be available online starting today and at selected boutiques beginning June 26.
