SIC To Set Up Special Grandstand For Hakim Danish At Malaysian MotoGP

Kuala lumpur: National teenage racing ace Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli will receive special support from local fans after the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) announced plans to set up a dedicated grandstand for him during the 2026 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) here in October. According to BERNAMA News Agency, SIC chief executive officer Azhan Shafriman Hanis stated that the special grandstand is created to appreciate the young rider's achievements while giving Malaysians the opportunity to unite in supporting him at the prestigious race. He mentioned that fans who have already purchased MotoGP tickets will be able to exchange them for tickets to the Hakim Danish Special Grandstand once sales for that section begin. Azhan explained that, based on initial plans, the special grandstand will be located along the Front Strait, near the Main Grandstand, which offers spectators a front-row view of the racing action. The SIC would initially provide two blocks of seats for the special grandstand, but t he capacity could be increased if demand from fans is strong. Azhan also mentioned that further announcements on the special grandstand and the overall plan for the 2026 MotoGP Malaysia will be made at a special press conference scheduled for September. He highlighted Hakim Danish's victory in his rookie season and expressed hope that the rider would continue delivering more podium finishes for Malaysia. Meanwhile, Hakim Danish, who has won one Moto3 race this season: the Grand Prix of Czechia at the Brno Circuit on June 21, said the plan to establish a dedicated grandstand has further motivated him to compete at the Malaysian Grand Prix. He expressed gratitude to Encik Shafriman for the motivation and encouragement to race at Sepang in October.
