Kuala Lumpur: Bursa Malaysia Bhd announced that intraday short selling (IDSS) for Yew Lee Pacific Group Bhd has been suspended for the rest of the day. This decision comes after the share price of Yew Lee Pacific experienced a significant drop, exceeding 15 percent or 15 sen from the reference price.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, short selling of the counter will only resume the following trading day, on March 11, at 8:30 am. As of 10:45 am, Yew Lee’s share price decreased by 18 sen to 50.5 sen, with a total of 5.5 million shares traded. The group primarily engages in the manufacturing of industrial and household brushes, along with trading machinery parts and industrial hardware.
