Seven-Month-Old Baby Boy Among Three Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash

Hulu selangor: Three individuals, including a seven-month-old baby boy, were killed in a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Jalan Bunga Kertas, Bukit Sentosa in Hulu Selangor today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Ibrahim Husin stated that preliminary investigations revealed the accident occurred at around 9 am. A car turning right at the junction failed to avoid a motorcycle traveling from Taman Widuri towards Sungai Choh, leading to the motorcycle grazing the left side of the car.

The accident resulted in the deaths of the 25-year-old motorcyclist, who was a salesman, and an 88-year-old woman passenger in the car. Both were confirmed dead at the scene. The baby boy, who was in the rear seat of the car, sustained severe injuries and was transported to Sungai Buloh Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 11 am while receiving treatment.

Ibrahim further noted that the car's driver and a front-seat female passenger, both aged 60, suffered minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
