Selangor: The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin have extended their Chinese New Year greetings to all those celebrating the festival. In a post on the Selangor Royal Office’s Facebook page, the Sultan of Selangor highlighted the unique harmony within Malaysia’s multi-ethnic society, where people coexist and share various aspects of life, particularly culture.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, His Majesty mentioned that during festive occasions, all races come together to celebrate Chinese New Year, just as they do for Aidilfitri, Christmas, or Deepavali. His Majesty expressed hope that the spirit of sharing and mutual understanding will continue to thrive, not only during festive seasons.

His Majesty emphasized the importance of sharing every practice and aspect of daily life to ensure the country’s peace and stability remain strong and harmonious for future generations.
