Selangor: The Selangor State Government is actively working to ensure that connectivity facilities surrounding the Shah Alam Line LRT3 stations are completed promptly to provide a conducive environment for commuters. State Local Government and Tourism Exco Datuk Ng Suee Lim emphasized the government's commitment to addressing issues at the Shah Alam Stadium Station and Dato' Menteri Station, particularly infrastructure elements like pedestrian walkways and zebra crossings. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Ng Suee Lim mentioned that for Dato' Menteri Station, the challenges involve permit applications, and Prasarana has been instructed to finalize the required facilities within two months. In contrast, the Shah Alam Stadium Station will need more time due to a tender process with nearby developers, but monitoring will be maintained. Ng acknowledged that completed projects might have weaknesses, and responsibility would be taken to ensure relevant parties address these issues promptly. During a press c onference, which also included Exco Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi, Ng stated that the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) would oversee the progress of the necessary improvements. A coordination meeting with developers will also be organized to expedite the process and deliver adequate facilities for users. Additionally, Local Authorities (PBT) with stations in their districts will be instructed to assess and identify any shortcomings in connectivity facilities. Ng admitted to existing weaknesses but assured that decisive measures are being taken to resolve them. He announced plans to involve the Royal Klang City Council (MBDK) and other relevant PBTs in monitoring council members and assemblymen to gather feedback and ensure comprehensive oversight.
