Selangor Education Department Offers Support After Tragic Passing of Student

Klang: The Selangor Education Department (JPN) has extended its condolences to the family of Year Six pupil Muhammad Fahim Darwisy Yusmafendi, who died at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR), Klang, last Friday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Selangor JPN has issued a statement expressing sympathy and providing necessary assistance to Muhammad Fahim's family. The department is committed to ensuring the welfare and well-being of the family during this challenging time.

The statement conveyed deep sorrow for the loss of Muhammad Fahim Darwisy, who lost consciousness during a Yasin recitation session at school and later passed away at the hospital. The department expressed wishes for his soul to be among the faithful and for his family to find strength and perseverance in the face of this hardship.

Klang Utara police chief ACP S. Vijaya Rao reported that the 12-year-old pupil was confirmed dead at HTAR after fainting during a school assembly in Kapar, Klang. Preliminary autopsy findings indicated no criminal elements associated with the incident, but the exact cause of death is pending a full laboratory report.

The case is currently classified as a sudden death report (SDR).
