Selangor: The Selangor state government has announced a special Aidilfitri incentive of one month's salary or a minimum of RM1,000 for state civil servants. Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari stated that the incentive, given in appreciation of the performance of state civil servants, will be credited from March 19.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Amirudin Shari mentioned that salaries would be credited between March 13 and 16, ensuring there is no concern about spending in advance as the incentive payment will be credited on March 19. He made this announcement at the Akrab Mahabbah Insani Ramadan event with state civil servants.

Amirudin highlighted that community leaders, including Village Community Management Council members (MPKK), New Village/Bagan liaison officers, Indian community leaders, Wanita Berdaya supervisors, and Penggerak Belia Selangor, will receive one month's allowance with a minimum of RM500. Additionally, a RM500 incentive will be given to mosque personnel and Guru Rakyat (community religious teachers).

The state government also agreed to extend a RM300 incentive to 50,000 federal civil servants, including police, army personnel, firefighters, teachers, and nurses earning RM3,000 and below, who hold permanent posts and serve in Selangor. Amirudin stated that the Kita Selangor Aidilfitri Special Incentive will incur a financial implication of RM66.25 million and will be disbursed starting Thursday, March 19, InshaAllah.

Furthermore, Amirudin announced a special financial incentive of RM1,000 for media practitioners registered with Pertubuhan Wartawan Jurugambar Selangor (WAJAR) as of February 27.
