Kota bharu: A female Form One student was killed after she was believed to be hit by a car in the compound of her school here at about 1.30 pm. According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zuraifah recounted, "Suddenly, Mohd Ali Mustaqim showed up and told me that his sister was gone. I was shocked and could not understand what had happened and rushed to the surau (where the victim was believed to have been hit)." She shared this with reporters at Universiti Sains Malaysia Kubang Kerian Specialist Hospital's forensics unit. The incident was confirmed by Kota Bharu district police chief ACP Mohd Azmir Damiri. Meanwhile, Nur Fatimatu l Hawa's father, Mohd Azaudin Abdullah, 43, shared his grief with reporters at the same hospital. He was at work in Kampung Chepa when Zuraifah contacted him, urging him to go to his daughter's school immediately. "I didn't know what was going on until I arrived at the school. As soon as I got there, I immediately went to the surau and was shocked to find my daughter lying there, dead," he said, expressing his hope for justice in the matter. Zuraifah, who remains in shock and sadness about the incident, also revealed that she had been taking care of Nur Fatimatul Hawa Mohd Azaudin and her three siblings since their mother, Siti Maheran, passed away over five years ago.
