Nilai: National junior track cyclist Sawda Hasbullah has won her second gold medal at the 2025 Asian Track Cycling (ATC) Championship after beating South Korean Park Hye Rin 2-0 in the women’s junior sprint final at the National Velodrome here today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Sawda secured her first gold medal last Sunday when she broke the Asian women’s junior record for the one-kilometre time trial.

Sawda expressed her determination, saying, “I missed out on the gold medal in the team and keirin events, so I really tried as hard as I could today in the sprint event. Anyway, I’m very satisfied with how I performed at ATC.”

In addition to her two gold medals, Sawda also earned a silver medal in the women’s team sprint event at the 2025 ATC.
