Sabah Flood Evacuees Remain Unchanged At 5,017

Kota kinabalu: The number of flood evacuees in Sabah sheltering at 32 temporary relief centres across three affected districts remained unchanged at 5,017 people as of 8 am today. The Sabah Disaster Management Secretariat reported that there was little change in the number of evacuees accommodated at the relief centres compared with figures recorded at 8 last night.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the number of evacuees in Pitas remained unchanged at 2,701 this morning. A total of 2,071 evacuees are sheltering in Paitan, while 245 are in Tawau. The statement added that 86 villages have been affected by the floods.
