Penampang: Sabah DAP deputy chairman Datuk Chan Foong Hin, who is also the Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities, cast his vote at a polling centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bahang, Penampang, at 9.20 am today. The DAP candidate is contesting for the Tanjung Aru state seat in a nine-cornered race. The Tanjung Aru constituency has 21,264 registered voters.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, another DAP candidate, Chan Loong Wei, also exercised his voting rights this morning. He cast his vote at SK Luyang at 9.40 am. Chan Loong Wei, the Sabah DAP Youth (DAPSY) chief, is contesting a four-cornered race in the Luyang state seat, which has a total of 35,262 registered voters.
