The rubber market ended mixed today:roducing countries due to the strengthening El Ni±o weather pattern, alongside wet-weather risks in Thailand.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, market sentiment was dampened by higher domestic natural rubber production in July. 'Natural rubber production increased one per cent in July 2026, to 26,817 tonnes, compared with 26,553 tonnes in June 2026, according to a report released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM),' he told Bernama. Investors were also cautious ahead of United States inflation data, he said.

At 3 pm, the price of SMR 20 declined by 10.5 sen to 1,011 sen per kilogramme (kg), while latex in bulk remained unchanged at 710.5 sen per kg.
