George town: Several roads around Lebuh Armenian, Lebuh Acheh, and Lorong Lumut will be temporarily closed tomorrow in conjunction with the Tanjong Lantern Festival.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) announced in a statement that the closures will be in effect from noon until 11:59 pm on the same day. The roads affected by these closures include parts of Lebuh Armenian from Lebuh Acheh to Lebuh Cannon, Lebuh Acheh from Lebuh Cannon to Lebuh Carnarvon, and Lorong Lumut.

The council has advised members of the public, especially those who regularly use these roads, to plan their journeys ahead of time. It is recommended to follow the closure instructions and utilize suitable alternative routes to minimize inconvenience.

MBPP emphasized the importance of public cooperation and attention to ensure that the festival can proceed smoothly and safely.
