Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Uranus team is targeting a top-three finish at the 2025 Raja Muda of Selangor International Regatta (RMSIR): The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Uranus team has set their sights on achieving a podium finish at the prestigious regatta event.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, ATM Uranus skipper Warrant Officer 1 Ahmad Fakhrizan Deraman expressed the team’s determination to improve on their performance from the previous year, where they secured the fourth position overall. He emphasized the importance of teamwork among the 13 crew members, noting that the introduction of many new members to the team would not hinder their performance. Fakhrizan acknowledged the increased competition this year, stating that all participating teams are former champions, which raises the level of challenge.
The regatta, now in its 35th edition, features 28 teams from various countries. The nine-day race commenced in Port Klang and will continue to Pangkor in Perak, then Penang, before concluding in Langkawi. Notably, the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, is also taking part in the event.
