RM300,000 Social Service Programme Allocation Aimed At Targeted Groups In Perak.

PASIR SALAK: The government has allocated RM300,000 for three social service programmes aimed at targeted groups in Perak to help ease their cost of living burden. Datuk Azman Abidin, the political secretary to the Prime Minister, said the allocation involves the MADANI Ehsan Assistance Programme, MADANI Donation for Special Education and B40 Students, and the Village Chicken Farming and Feed Mixture Course.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the funds allocated under these programmes are based on need and not handed out arbitrarily, as the government aims to add value and ensure the funds reach the targeted groups. Azman made these remarks at the MADANI Ehsan Assistance Programme at Kampung Orang Asli Redang Punggor, which was attended by over 500 community leaders and local residents.

Azman highlighted that similar aid allocations were also channelled to other states depending on applications and needs. Perak is the fifth state to receive this assistance, following previous allocations in Kedah, Johor, Mel
aka, Sabah, and Sarawak. The allocation varies depending on applications and urgent needs, he noted.

Furthermore, Azman emphasized that the contribution channelled is evidence of the government’s commitment under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to address the needs of the people. He expressed hope that the allocation would be used effectively to reduce the cost of living and improve the economic standards of the people.

He also urged the people to strive for self-reliance and not remain passive, relying solely on welfare aid.
