Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced that the funding will focus on infrastructure repair and upgrades, as well as the development of public facilities, directly benefiting the residents of the area.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the projects are set to be carried out through the Muar District Action Meeting, which encompasses seven state constituencies. The meeting addressed a total of 405 issues and related matters, out of which 134 have been resolved, 51 are in progress, and 160 are new applications. The remaining issues require further examination by relevant agencies.

Onn Hafiz emphasized that the structured coordination and resolution of issues raised by the public are crucial for efficient problem-solving. The approach aims to ensure that actions are implemented more rapidly, with greater focus and effectiveness.

Among the projects slated for execution is the upgrading of the Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Centre (TMIYC) Muar track, which has been allocated RM2 million. This initiative aligns with the efforts to enhance sports facilities and foster community development and youth talent in Muar.
