Kulai: A total of RM1.3 million has been allocated this year to strengthen the education sector in the Kulai parliamentary constituency, covering various school activities, Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), and contributions to students, said Kulai Member of Parliament Teo Nie Ching. Teo, who is Deputy Communications Minister, stated that the allocation reflects the government's commitment to prioritizing welfare and educational development in the constituency.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Teo underscored the importance of education as the most valuable investment in the future of the younger generation and a fundamental foundation for a country's development. Her remarks came during a ceremony for the presentation of contributions to outstanding 2025 STPM students for the Kulai constituency at Taman Desa Idaman.

Earlier in the event, Teo presented special incentives and higher education institution registration assistance totaling RM92,000 to 111 outstanding STPM students in the Kulai constituency. She expressed hope that this contribution would provide encouragement for the students to continue striving and serve as appreciation for the teachers who have guided them.
