Bagan datuk: The three-day Rehlah Islahiyah programme at Masjid Tuminah Hamidi in Bagan Datuk concluded today with deep reflection and meaningful content for all congregants, encompassing 'tarbiah' (spiritual nurturing), 'ukhuwah' (brotherhood), and 'islah' (self-improvement).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be with the congregants in a tarbiah setting that united hearts, enlivened ukhuwah, and strengthened their relationship with Allah. He emphasized that the 'rehlah' (journey) served as a platform to reinforce proper conduct, build unity of the soul, and nurture the spirit of islah in community life and daily practices. The programme rekindled the congregants' longing to be in gatherings of knowledge and worship that bring tranquillity.
Dr Ahmad Zahid highlighted a significant moment during the Ta'lim Muzakarah session when Maulana Wan Hilmy Wan Mohamed reminded congregants of the importance of manners, sincerity, and continuous efforts to improve oneself and maintain good relations with others. Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Bagan Datuk MP, expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in making the programme a success, including 60 motorcycle convoy participants who added vibrancy to the journey and spirit of togetherness throughout the event.
He conveyed his hope that all acts of worship and every piece of knowledge gained during the programme would be accepted by Allah. Dr Ahmad Zahid also expressed his aspiration for the Rehlah Islahiyah to become a point of strength for the congregants to remain steadfast, improve themselves, and bring positive values back into their lives, families, and communities.
