PETALING JAYA: More than 350 influential leaders from government and industry are expected to gather at the REHDA Institute CEO Series 2025 conference next month to explore global real estate trends and develop strategies to bolster Malaysia’s economic resilience and sustainable development.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) announced that the economic and business conference, scheduled for January 16, 2025, in Petaling Jaya, will include distinguished thought leaders from Malaysia and international speakers from Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Australia, and Singapore.
Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying and Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Liew Chin Tong are slated to deliver keynote addresses at the event, as stated by REHDA.
The annual event is positioned as a strategic platform for decision-makers from the banking, finance, manufacturing, construction, and real estate sectors to discuss Malaysia’s key economic challenges and opportunities. The 2025 conference will focus on practical insights such as leveraging policy reforms to expand tax revenues and attract high-value investments, enhancing Malaysia’s position in global markets, and driving innovation in fast-growing sectors, particularly digital disruption in construction and real estate development.
The one-day event promises a series of engaging sessions, featuring insights from prominent policymakers and industry leaders, a post-Budget 2025 outlook, real estate market projections, and discussions on the innovations shaping construction and emerging technologies.
A special emphasis will be placed on Malaysia’s role as ASEAN chair in 2025, showcasing its leadership in fostering regional economic collaboration and addressing challenges such as trade tensions and evolving international policies.
