Penang: Chan Sow Lin: A recycling factory at Jalan Emas 1 in Chan Sow Lin experienced 40 percent damage due to a fire that broke out last night.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department's Operations Centre reported that 33 firefighters and nine engines from the Bandar Tun Razak, Pudu, and Hang Tuah fire and rescue stations responded to the emergency. The distress call was received at 8.05 pm.
The fire affected a 50 x 70 square foot area of the factory. It was brought under control by 9.24 pm, and the operation concluded at 12.08 am. There were no victims involved in the incident.
