Raymon Ram Appointed As New TI-M President

Petaling Jaya: Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) has appointed Raymon Ram as its new president for the 2025-2027 term during the 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Crystal Crown Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. He succeeds Dr Muhammad Mohan, who stepped down after completing the six-year term limit, having led TI-M since 2019.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Raymon, a former TI-M secretary-general and an expert in economic crime management, brings extensive experience in corporate fraud investigations and asset recovery. In a statement, TI-M said that Raymon has facilitated various anti-fraud training programmes for both local law enforcement agencies and private sector entities.

During his tenure as secretary-general, he played a key role in advancing the organisation’s mission of promoting transparency and integrity in Malaysia. His professional credentials include being a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and an ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems Lead Auditor. Additionally, he has obtained a Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Basel Institute of Governance, Switzerland.

The newly appointed TI-M 2025-2027 office bearers include Raymon Ram as President, Chew Phye Keat as Deputy President, Nuridzuana Ismail as Secretary-General, and Dr. Geetha Rubasundram as Treasurer. The Executive Committee Members are S. Nisha Kamilla, Muhammad Nazri Shaidon, Balbeer Singh, Sahul Hamid Mohamed Maiddin, Zalily Mohamed Zaman Khan, and Fareedah Kamarulzaman.
