Putrajaya: The ‘Rancakkan MADANI’ programme, set to take place over three days starting this Friday at the Dataran Putrajaya compound, is anticipated to draw over 300,000 visitors. This initiative is organized by the Prime Minister’s Office’s Project Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU) and is poised to be the largest public communication effort ever undertaken by the unit.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the PACU Corporate Communications Head, Sapian Mamat, stated that the target attendance is indicative of the wide array of activities planned, including government service exhibitions, engagement sessions, policy forums, and asset showcases. These events are intended to serve as a comprehensive platform for directly communicating government initiatives to the public.
Sapian Mamat elaborated on the programme during a media briefing and site visit to the venue. He mentioned that the event is being organized in collaboration with the Public Service Department and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation. The programme aims to highlight government initiatives implemented throughout 2025 and those outlined in the 2026 Budget.
More than 30 government service booths will be available for visitors to obtain information, make inquiries, and gain a better understanding of the public service improvements being introduced. The programme will also promote the Public Service Reform Agenda (ARPA), which is part of the reforms introduced by the MADANI Government to enhance public service delivery.
Sapian emphasized the importance of face-to-face engagement, allowing the public to witness government achievements firsthand and receive direct explanations from civil servants. He also announced that the 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention would be held concurrently, focusing on strategies to enhance public services and improve government delivery responsiveness.
The three-day programme will cover eight main sectors, including Ukhwah MADANI, MADANI youth programmes, the public service reform agenda, the ASEAN segment, and Malaysia’s international achievements. Malaysia’s domestic, ASEAN, and global successes will be showcased through exhibitions and interactive activities.
In addition to policy-focused content, attraction programmes like the MADANI Sale will offer discounts on essential items, including back-to-school supplies. Industries are collaborating to provide discounts through coordination with the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
Other attractions include the ‘Meow Fiesta’ cat exhibition, a disaster management demonstration by the SMART NADMA team, safety demonstrations by the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Home Affairs Ministry, and a helmet exchange programme.
For parents, Kiddocare will offer childcare services, with the first two hours free of charge. A land asset exhibition by various government agencies will allow visitors to view assets up close.
Sapian encouraged the use of public transportation for accessibility, with shuttle buses available from several park-and-ride locations. The programme’s highlight will be on the third day, featuring an engagement session with the entire Cabinet and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 11 am.
The Rancakkan MADANI programme will operate from 9 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
