Queen Urges Malaysian Athletes to Embrace Both Victory and Defeat

Kuala lumpur: Win or lose, the bittersweet nature of competition is something every athlete must embrace, said Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia. Her Majesty expressed her unwavering support and prayers for her children’s success and safety in their sporting endeavours, emphasizing the importance of resilience in sports.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Raja Zarith Sofiah, who is currently in Japan, shared in both the joy and disappointment experienced by her sons, who had contrasting results in the second race of the GT World Challenge Asia series at the Fuji Speedway Circuit today. Both Johor Motorsports Racing (JMR) Corvette Z06 GT3.R entries had started the race from the front row after securing first and second place in yesterday’s qualifying session.

Her Majesty extended her wishes to all Malaysian athletes, urging them to remain spirited and always strive to bring pride to the country. She emphasized that the outcomes of competitions, whether favorable or challenging, are part of a divine plan. “In the end, we place everything in the hands of Allah SWT. Never forget that whatever the outcome – be it fortune or setback – it is all part of His divine will,” Her Majesty stated in a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar’s official Facebook page.
