Kuala lumpur: The Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN) announced today the appointment of Her Majesty Queen M¡xima of the Netherlands, who serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), as Chair of the International Advisory Board (IAB). Alongside Queen M¡xima, Mr. Agustn Carstens and Mr. Sanjiv Bajaj have also been appointed as new members of the IAB, with their roles taking effect on 1 July, 2025.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the inclusion of these globally respected figures is a significant development for the GFTN. This Singapore-headquartered not-for-profit organization is known for its efforts in leveraging technology and innovation to enhance financial systems, making them more efficient, resilient, and inclusive through global partnerships. The new appointments are expected to further the organization’s mission by bringing diverse expertise and perspectives to its board.
