Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has expressed his appreciation to all Puteri UMNO members in conjunction with the 24th anniversary of the UMNO wing. The UMNO president emphasized the wing’s role as a steadfast backbone of the party’s struggle for over two decades.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid highlighted in a Facebook post that Puteri UMNO is a dynamic wing representing the voice of young women, taking the lead strategically and defending UMNO under any circumstances. He noted that Puteri UMNO’s presence spans from social media to grassroots levels in villages and cities, where they actively contribute to the party’s activities.

Ahmad Zahid also pointed out that the anniversary comes at a crucial time, ahead of the Sabah State Election, serving as both a testing ground and an opportunity for Puteri UMNO to prove their maturity and capability as the voice of the future. He expressed confidence that with strong solidarity and spirit, Puteri UMNO would continue to achieve success within the party and contribute to nation-building and driving the country forward.

In his congratulatory message, he wished Puteri UMNO a happy 24th anniversary and encouraged them to continue shining as the leading force of young women in the nation.
