PTPTN Continues IMRAN Programme For Fifth Year Starting This Week

Kuala Lumpur: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) will continue with its Imarah Ramadan PTPTN (IMRAN) programme for the fifth year running from March 5 to 20 across 15 public universities, polytechnics, community colleges, and selected schools nationwide. PTPTN chairman Datuk Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim described IMRAN as a longstanding tradition of giving back, aimed at supporting both students and local communities.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiative not only helps those in need but also strengthens PTPTN’s ties with educational institutions through close collaboration. This was emphasized by Norliza during the IMRAN launch and flag-off ceremony at PTPTN Tower, where notable attendees included PTPTN chief executive officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Polytechnic (PSA) director Zainah Rujihan, PTPTN management, and PSA students.

This year, IMRAN will feature community-focused activities, such as the preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk, bubur manis, and other iftar meals to over 10,000 people. Norliza expressed hope that their contributions will ease some of the financial burdens many face during Ramadan.

As part of its commitment to supporting the sustainability of education in Malaysia, PTPTN aims to further develop IMRAN as a platform for charitable efforts and collaboration with educational institutions, ensuring a positive impact on all those involved.
