Segamat: The proposed relocation of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Sungai Muar in Segamat is currently at the land ownership stage. The process is being managed in collaboration with the Segamat Land and Mines Office.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Segamat Member of Parliament R. Yuneswaran confirmed this development during an engagement session with the school. The session was also attended by Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek in Segamat.

Yuneswaran expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Education for their efforts in ensuring a safer and more conducive learning environment for children in Segamat. He highlighted the importance of the Minister's presence as an indication of the seriousness of the relocation effort.

Since being elected as Segamat MP in 2022, Yuneswaran has been a consistent advocate for the school's relocation due to concerns over safety, its distance from the local community, and infrastructure challenges. He reiterated the commitment of the MADANI Government to prioritize education and assured continuous monitoring of the situation until the relocation is successfully implemented.
